Tercatat, ada 65 situs web.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Sebagian besar situs web yang ada dalam daftar itu, memang situs yang melanggar hak cipta dan domain\u00a0<em>hosting torrent.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Namun, Microsoft juga memasukan\u00a0<em>link\u00a0<\/em>dari portal berita, blog yang punya kredibilitas, sampai situs web resmi pemerintah Amerika Serikat, yang tak ada hubungannya dengan distribusi ilegal Windows 8.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Situs web tersebut antara lain CNN, Wikipedia, Buzzfeed, BBC, The Huffington Post, TechCrunch, The Washington Post, Real Clear Politics, Rotten Tomatoes, AMC Theaters, dan berbagai situs milik pemerintah AS.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Masalah ini berasal dari sistem perangkat lunak Microsoft, yang secara otomatis menjaring\u00a0<em>link<\/em>dari halaman situs resmi pemegang hak cipta. Bahkan, dalam pengajuan daftar sebelumnya, Microsoft pernah meminta Google menghapus link mesin pencari Bing miliki Microsoft sendiri, dan layanan\u00a0<em>streaming<\/em>\u00a0musik Spotify asal Swedia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Beberapa situs web besar macam CNN dan BBC tidak terpengaruh oleh klaim ini.
